In addition to increasing energy efficiency, companies can use peak load management to reduce network charges and thus energy costs by reducing electrical load peaks - and thus leverage previously mostly unused savings potential. 

Typical measures are the analysis of the load curve, avoidance of switch-on peaks, reduction of load peaks of individual consumers, among other things by stretching processes or adjusting consumptions. EAS and EOS also provide the content that is so important for energy management, thus helping to reduce the consumption of energy and media and intervening in a targeted manner when it comes to reducing electrical load peaks.
