Landgasthof Läuterhäusle: Comfort and efficiency through intelligent energy use
Challenge: Energy-hungry technology with a limited grid connection
The traditional Landgasthof Läuterhäusle in Aalen-Unterkochen combines gastronomy, hotel operations and sustainability. With twelve rooms, several dishwashers, an all-electric kitchen and modern air conditioning systems, the increasing number of electrical consumers poses a major challenge - especially as the grid connection is limited to just 63 amps. The integration of two e-charging points for hotel guests also complicates the situation. For owner Michael Asbrock, one thing was clear: the solution had to work reliably, ensure the comfort of the guests and minimize energy costs at the same time. To achieve this, he opted for the tried-and-tested Energy Optimization System EOS from dibalog
System solution: in-house electricity use and load control in real time
Together with dibalog, an energy management concept was developed that combines combined heat and power plants (CHP) and a 17.5 kWp photovoltaic system. The in-house use of electricity covers around 60% of the energy requirement and was amortized within just 7.5 years. At the heart of the solution is the EOS system, which automates and intelligently controls
Effect: Lower costs, more control, maximum reliability
The results speak for themselves: despite increasing technical equipment, energy consumption remains under control. The energy costs have been significantly reduced
Perspective: Sustainable hospitality with a future
For Michael Asbrock, energy optimization is an integral part of his entrepreneurial success. The sustainable use of electricity through in-house generation, the targeted use of technology and the intelligent control provided by the dibalog system allow him to concentrate fully on his guests. The system solution is modularly expandable and scalable, which also equips the country inn for future requirements. This not only makes energy management more efficient, but also improves the overall guest experience - in keeping with the spirit of hospitality.
